Social group work

Our services are aimed at children aged 6–10 who are experiencing difficulties in their personal or family lives. Group activities are alternated with individual support. The children experience being part of a social group and learn how to interact with each other appropriately. We maintain contact with those involved and work with families in the form of counselling sessions on parenting issues and strengthening family resources.

The objectives are:

  • Supporting development in order to stabilise new behaviour patterns;
  • Conveying positive experiences and values to promote development;
  • Strengthening self-confidence to develop a positive self-image;
  • Developing independence and a sense of responsibility;
  • Dealing with stressful family situations in order to better cope with everyday conflicts;
  • Providing support and clarification regarding fears and future prospects.
